Now Hiring: Catering Manager – Banquet & Events Venue Are you passionate about creating unforgettable events and building client relationships? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and love working in a team focused on excellence? We’re looking for a Catering Manager to join our banquet facility and help bring events to life with precision and flair. Job Summary: The Catering Manager is responsible for the successful leadership and coordination of social and corporate events. This role oversees all aspects of event planning and execution, including client communications, event orders, staff scheduling and training, deliveries/pickups, event P&Ls, invoicing, and financial reconciliation. You'll collaborate closely with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and a five-star guest experience. What You’ll Do: Lead the planning and execution of private, social, and corporate events Generate new business through outreach, networking, and lead management systems. Develop catering proposals tailored to client needs Manage event details, from tastings to final walk-throughs Maintain BEO system and generate accurate sales reports Supervise service staff; manage schedules and oversee team performance Coordinate orders from vendors and oversee event operations Track event profitability and handle invoicing and reconciliation What We’re Looking For: 2+ years experience in catering, sales, event management, or hospitality leadership Strong customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask under pressure Familiarity with Banquet Event order systems, sales blitzing, financial tracking Able to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules Team player with a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
